Counseling Services
Family Counseling
The Family Counseling Services Program provides linguistically and culturally responsive mental health treatment intervention and education to under-served and diverse populations in our communities. Catholic Charities is committed to offering family wellness services that are professional, accessible, low-cost, short-term out-patient counseling to under-served populations.
Parenting Education
This program provides parenting education and develops parenting skills for high risk families through local Parishes. An 8-10 week Nurturing Parenting Program is offered, and case management is provided for participants as needed that leads to access of additional resources for these families. In addition, presentations that promote wellness, healthy physical and emotional development are available upon request.
Youth Engagement Program
In partnership with community organizations and youth groups this program aims to identify at risk youth to provide needed services that improve emotional and physical well being through concrete services such as mentoring and tutoring. Services include leadership development that is holistic and promotes community involvement.
Immigration Legal Services
Naturalization/Citizenship
The agency is recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals to provide low-cost consultations, legal counseling, and tutoring services to assist legal permanent residents achieve US citizenship. Services are provided by Case Managers accredited by the Board of Immigration Appeals.
Family Reunification
Provides assistance to immigrants through low-cost professional and confidential immigration counseling, such as family petitions, hardship waivers, etc...
Citizenship Education Program
This program provides weekly English/Citizenship classes to assist Legal Permanent Residents pass the naturalization exam. Free childcare is provided
